March Frontier Day - Option 2: The REC
Join us for a fun afternoon of bowling at The REC.
This is a great opportunity for students to connect, build friendships, and enjoy some friendly competition. Whether your child is a seasoned bowler or trying it for the first time, everyone is welcome.

March Frontier Day - Option 1: Maritime Museum
Join us as we explore the powerful and sometimes extreme forces at work along the Columbia River Bar. Students will learn how winter storms can produce waves exceeding 40 feet in height and why this stretch of water is known as one of the most challenging maritime passages in the world. We’ll explore interactive exhibits featuring the U.S. Coast Guard and the Columbia River Bar Pilots, and discover the legendary fishing runs that have shaped the region’s history and economy.
This Frontier Day brings together science, history, and regional culture in a hands-on learning experience you won’t want to miss.

Join us at the World Forestry Center, where we will explore forests from around the world through two floors of hands-on exhibits. Designed for all ages, the museum features engaging displays on wildlife, tree planting, outdoor recreation, and forest-related careers.
